John first raced with HFO in 2002, driving his Tyrell 003 to the class title in class . His return to HFO at Estoril in 2003 saw him in Tyrrell 001 the very first of the Tyrrell line and a car driven by three times World Champion, Jackie Stewart.
Since his home is in California, it is no surprise that John is so laid back. He takes his historic racing seriously though and for the past few seasons has transplanted himself, wife Mimi (God bless her!) and his beloved Porsche 911 to Kent, England to enable him to contest HFO, Formula Junior and any other events he can talk his way into.
In HFO, John drives whichever Tyrrell he feels like!
