Rodrigo acquired a March 761 in 2002 to take part in the 2003 Championship and his pace took HFO by surprise as he raced into Championship contention early in the ’03 season. Some bad luck and one or two ‘moments’ caused him to drop out of points places.
He made amends the following year however and became our 2004 Historic Formula One Champion.
Rodrigo drove a Minardi F1 for 2005/6 but suffered reliability problems and he reverted to the March from 2007 onwards.
