Former Formula 3 competitor Mauro Pane and his father Marcello run the F1 Storiche team, based at Monza. Somehow Mauro manages to run cars for several of our other Italian drivers and race himself.
He can usually be seen competing with the remarkable 6 wheel Tyrrell P34, although occasionally turns up in other interesting machinery belonging to his customers. He is HFO’s very own car dealer!
Mauro is the 2008 Historic Formula One Champion.
