Frank is probably best known in racing circles for his exploits in the British Touring Car Championship which he won in 1988. His regular mount was a BMW 3 series, not surprising considering he also owned a number of successful BMW dealerships in the UK.
It seems as though Frank has raced just about any car that can be raced and his determined on-track style has earned him the nickname “Fearless Frank”. Even heart bypass surgery in 2006 hasn’t slowed him down.
One of the real characters of British Racing, Frank is a life member of the British Racing Drivers Club.
