Wünsch, Peter (DE)

Racing Bio

Peter Wuensch

Peter raced Speedway during the 1973 and 1974 seasons in Germany with some success and developed his taste for velocity before going into business in the helicopter industry.

Fast forward nearly 20 years later to 2001 and Peter bought a Maserati 300S for his first race on four wheels at Monza. He finished third in class.

The next season he followed this up with two more third places at Spa and Brands Hatch in the Ferrari/Maserati Challenge – both events where HFO featured on the timetable.

Bitten by the historic motorsport bug, he purchased a BRMP261 and in 2002 raced at Phillip Island, Imola, Donington and Pau before switching to the ex Hill/Reutemann Brabham BT37 in 2003.

His first race in HFO was at Estoril 2003 and he now drives a Wolf WR2 .
