Williams FW07B-7

The 1980 Drivers World Championship winning car and arguably the most significant Williams F1 car of all time.

The Williams FW07B was the car that took Alan Jones to the 1980 F1 World Championship – the first World Championship for Williams, and driver Alan Jones. Designed by Patrick Head, the FW07 design was so successful that it remained competitive for 3 years.

During 1980, Jones won 5 races and this particular chassis, number 7, took him to victory 4 times, including the season ending Australian GP where Jones tied up the titles.

The car has been raced by its current owner, and has been tested by professional driver Anthony Reid, to ensure that the car is competitive in HFO races.
