HFO is a group of people whose philosophy is to enjoy their racing while making each event as fun and friendly as possible. Many competitors bring their families to each event and we encourage that.
We have competitors from many different professional, social and race experience backgrounds and various age groups although most of us are just a little older than our cars!
We have Captains of Industry, Media Moguls, a welder and the odd Hi-tech refugee but we also have more than our fair share of builders! (don’t worry, the rest of us will point them out).
Previous race experience varies widely. One regular came straight to HFO from Historic Formula Ford with nothing in between (I still remember that first run in an F1 car, Yikes! – Ed.). Other drivers have competed in BTCC, Group C, Ferrari Challenge and various historic and club series.
