How HFO is Run

HFO is non-profit making, is owned by the drivers and run on their behalf. The drivers elect a committee from their own ranks to oversee the running of the Championship and the Chairman of the committee makes the necessary day-to-day operational decisions.

HFO Drivers' CommitteeDrivers' Committee L - R: Richard Eyre, Joaquin Folch, Bobby Verdon-Roe, John Delane, Dan Collins (Chairman), Abba Kogan.

The Chairman works closely with Stuart McCrudden Associates Ltd. who are contracted to HFO for Championship co-ordination and event organisation.

Competitors are informed about the activities of the committee and are consulted on important issues.

We have a stable FIA-ratified set of rules covering the technical and sporting aspects of the championship and these are policed by FIA Officials.

As an FIA Championship, the cars are checked by our nominated FIA Technical Delegate, our events are monitored by FIA appointed stewards and the on-track action takes place under the eagle-eye of our own, dedicated, FIA Race Director.

All the FIA officials are independent of HFO and answer only to the FIA thus eliminating any conflicts of interest.
